Federal Criminal Attorneys of Michigan is a law firm established in 1989 with an office in Detroit, MI. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing federal criminal law, white collar crime, criminal law and 10 other areas of law.
We hired Sanford after interviewing 3 other firms. We spoke to him the day after my son was in FBI custody. This was a Saturday. By Monday, he had put in orders to keep my son local, and identified himself as hired council. All of this done from his Michigan office and we live in California. To top it off, he filed 3 motions before we paid him one PENNY. He is now a member of the family through defalt- of saving my Sons young life and promising to be his attorney for life.
Sanford represented me when my honor was attacked by a disgruntled past client. Not only did Sanford support me with professional advice and guidance but he also connected me with other professionals to help suppprt my case. Ultimately Sanford got me out of that situation clean and even represented me in person when it wasn’t legally necessary to make me feel more comfortable! I would recommend him to friends and family without question.
My family hired Mr. Schulman’s Law Office to handle my brother’s case. Our experience with this firm has been fraught with frustration and dissatisfaction. The communication with this office was consistently poor. Our numerous attempts to contact Mr. Schulman for updates were frequently met with silence or inadequate responses. Paperwork was not filed, nor were court appearances met as a result of his lack of attention to my brother’s case. I believe he took advantage of my brother’s situation causing my family financial hardship and jeopardizing my brother’s chances for a fair 6500 motion and investigation by the Criminal Integrity Unit (CIU). We paid Mr. Schluman 10K for his representation which was not rendered effectively. The final outcome of my brother’s case was unfortunately affected by the poor legal services rendered by this office. Families seeking thorough, competent, and companionate legal services for their loved ones should avoid this office at all costs.
Did not represent my family or even try too. Had him take a outrageous plea, more than 15 years for something the judge said that he know he wasn't involved in. Told family member he was only getting 5 years. Didn't take it to trial or nothing. Come to find out Mr. Schulman made a deal with the judge and prosecutor because the victim was a wayne county employee.
