My father recently passed away leaving me with the responsibility to manage his trust. Upon trying to sell his home, we realized there would also be need for probate. I am not familiar with these things and turned to a lawyer in my local area, in the same state and within a couple of hours from the county in which my father resided. I can’t say enough nice things about Kirk and his team. Everyone we worked with – Kirk, Jaclyn, Natalie and Tom – was efficient, knowledgeable, always responsive and a real pleasure to work with. I first met the team at a difficult time when my stepmother was quite ill. My stepmom (and my late father) had a long-standing relationship with Kirk. Several years ago, her estate plan was reviewed and updated, including wills & trusts as well as all needed medical and financial authorizations. It was the completeness of that documentation that allowed my sister and me to step in and assist with paying bills and coordinating medical issues. After her death, Kirk and Jaclyn walked me through my responsibilities as administrator & trustee and then handled everything related to the estate. Bauer & Associates were there for me in dealing with the estate of my late father at a time of great sorrow, loss and heartache. They took the heavy burden in contending with the legal processes of probate off my shoulders, and, their costs to do so were sensible.
