Mr. Bonamo handled and tried all types of criminal matters, including homicides, career criminal prosecution and complex white-collar / fraud cases. He served as a Supervising Attorney in the Felony Trial Division for several years. While a state prosecutor, he was also an Adjunct Professor at the former Daytona Beach Community College teaching in the areas of criminal and constitutional law. Mr. Bonamo is the elected Board of Governor Representative to The Florida Bar for the 7th Judicial Circuit of Florida, serving currently on the Board of Governor’s Disciplinary Procedural Rules Committee, Communications Committee, the Disciplinary Review Committee, and Executive Committee. Mr. Bonamo is an “Advisor” attorney for the Florida Bar’s Lawyers Advising Lawyers Program (LAL). Mr. Bonamo previously served as a mentor for law school students in Florida through The Florida Bar’s E Mentor Program. He is a former board member and officer for the Volusia County Bar Association and is a prior President of the Volusia County Bar Association. Mr. Bonamo is a former Board of Director for the Bert Fish Medical Center Foundation, and as well is a former member of Board of Directors for the SE Volusia County Chamber of Commerce.

Mr Bonamo is a commensurate professional that is compassionate and supportive of his clients. I had several legal matters that needed attention and he handled each one professionally and effectively, while keeping my desired goals in focus. Mr Bonamo assisted me with cases ranging from family, criminal to civil actions and civil injunctions. Mr Bonamo was exceptional. I appreciated the professional and outstanding service he and his staff provided. I was confident that he was fighting for me and my children and always felt he had our best interests at heart. All the anxiety I had going into this divorce was greatly reduced as he did above and beyond what I had heard about divorce lawyers. I never had a single complaint and felt that I had a friend on my side at all times. You wont find a better Lawyer anywhere!
