He was great in the beginning. Then he started billing my husband for the case work at an outrageous amount because he knew my husband made good money. I had a motorcycle wreck that took a couple years to heal from then I was sick hospitalized, sent home on oxygen and was only able to get off the couch for 3 minutes at a time. During this time a friend of mine was trying to communicate with his legal assistant and he was going through them like dirty socks. He was supposed to file the final decree of divorce and DID NOT. THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS and I found mine and my husbands name on a docket with no date I sent him an email as well as a text. He replied to the text asking who I was. The next day he told me he had withdrawn from my case and had been for a while. HE DIDNT TELL ME ANYTHING! He JUST Quit! I can’t even get ahold of him or anyone that works for him to send me the paperwork so I can try to file it! Do not hire this schizophrenic man.

Mr Rubin is the worse of the worse. Lower than pond scum. He took advantage of me & my kids at our low point. I paid him 10k retainer. He tried my case & another, same day. When my case was to b heard, I went to the other court to get him. He runs in & the judge tells him, he’s late, we need to reschedule. He says, I do my case less than 15 minutes. 20+years of marriage; I got zip. The ex got the house, all of the 401k, & all 3 cars. I got over 30k of credit card debt & was ordered to pay half his taxes that he was n arrears for. Not even a frequent flyer mile.No cash.Rubin wud not send my info to my new attorney.I went to his office to get my paperwork & waited for hours while they copied the same pages over & over to make it look like he had done something. 1 filing. My calls were never returned. 1 day n court, 15 minutes. Rubin scammed me out of $10,000.00 dollars. Whatever he gets, he deserves.

BEWARE! All the bad reviews you see are 100% true I wish someone have warned me and my family. Michael D. Rubin is a total thief and scammer along with his partner in crime Monica Rubin, she collects the money they steal from innocent people. Michael sets up accounts on different websites to lure people of his scams, he recently deleted his thumbtack account to fraudulent hide messages he cannot delete as a cover-up and stated he's not providing service anymore after scamming people out of their money. Do your research fully on every site and on the scam artist Michael D. Rubin before falling for his criminal lies. He has a complaint filed against him already posted and located on the Texas State Bar website. check his Facebook page people he scammed have posted reviews as well. The only couple of good reviews he has on Avvo are from people he knows. Michael's office is located here in Dallas more bad attorney to take and steal from those who need help and,he takes advantage.

Mr. Rubin is unprofessional, a liar, and in general a horrible human being. He is non-responsive, he runs up bills unnecessarily, and does not fulfill his legal obligations to his clients.
