At first working with the lawyer was OK with him thinking that if it’s an easy money grab very responsive, but if you have to go into court and take the long road, don’t expect to hear from him again. Just a typical money, hungry greaseball lawyer.
Awful, Goodman was completely arrogant and condescending. He will chase the easy money, and solicit offers without your knowledge and then try force you to take a lowball offer, while acting like he is a brilliant infallible legal mind. Zero fight in him.
Incredibly unprofessional firm. Completely blame the receptionist, “Sam”. I reached out and sent emails in December (now February) and kept calling every so often to be told, “The lawyer will reach out to you soon.” I was told Wednesday that I’d hear from someone that day. Today is Friday, I call and I get a response that says I should have contacted TWC within 180 days (I am within 180 days) and I call the lawyer directly and the firm directly to ask follow up questions. No response, so I drive over. When I walk in, I ask a series of questions about what my next steps are. The receptionist, Sam, tells me that they are too busy to take on new clients (I haven’t spoken with a lawyer yet) and that I need to leave. I was so taken aback that I was being spoken to like this after having my time wasted for so many months and for just asking some questions. I have never been spoken to so rudely during a professional interaction, and I highly advise others not to contact this firm.
Robert Goodman was my attorney and lost my case. He also lied to me about the settlement he made me sign. He said it would be tax free money. It was not !! I got a bill stating I owe 23,000 of a 55,000 settlement that I was forced to sign. He would not give me my ERISA folder back so that I could hire a new attorney. His supervisors would not call me back. Robert Goodman grabbed me by my shoulders and kissed me slipping the tongue. Right in front of my uncle. Why was my uncle there you ask? It is because I was scared of Robert and needed protection from him. We asked throu emails and every time we met at his office for my ERISA file that I provided. He refused. He is a liar and either on drugs or alcohol. He was rude yelling at me to shut up. He did not even know in mediation why I couldn’t work. He asked me to write it down. He did not bring my ERISA file MEDIATION.Complete idiot ! What person especially a lawyer grabs his client and kissed her slipping the tongue, a poor one !
