Is there a statute of limitations on a DUI interlock device?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Michael Jermaine Carter (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Carter Boyle LLC
No statute of Limitations exists but you can become eligible to have your interlock removed. What you need to do is contact DMV or a DMV attorney to have file paperwork to have it removed. Interlocks can be mandated from 9 months on to longer periods of time. The only person who can tell you to remove this device is DMV.
