Your chances for reinstatement are slim to none if you have been on the run since 2009 and committed a new crime. It does not matter if the attorney is hired or court appointed, they will have to perform a small miracle to get you reinstated. With that said, reinstatement and how much time you get are completely in the hands of the judge presiding over your case. Good luck.

Section 22.011(a)(2) of the Texas Penal code makes it a crime to have sex with anyone under the age of 17, However, Section 22.011(e)(2) provides an affirmative defense to prosecution for people that are less than 3 years apart. Make sure that you are less than 36 months apart and if not you should wait until he is 17. This only applies to Texas, as I am not licensed to practice in any other state.
