Can I get a DUI while driving on private property?

Janice Fabiana Alfred
Answered by attorney Janice Fabiana Alfred (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at South Atlanta Family Law
I do not believe the charge has anything to do with where you were driving but were you driving while under the influence of alcohol. My question is, did the police actually see you drive the car? My advice is to consult with a DUI attorney to see if you may have a viable defense to the charge.

Warrant for false accusations

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
The answer is you need an attorney in your county or nearby to help you. He can make the contacts necessary for you.You will need to make a bond before the charges can be dealt with. Unfortunately there is no easy way to deal with false accusations once the State has picked up the charge.

What will happen if I did not pay my fines or go to my court date?

Criminal Law lawyer at Freeborn Law Offices P.S.
Looks like you have 2 strikes going against you. Depending upon your judge, the nature of the crime that you are in court for, and whether you have had other issues of non-compliance or failures to show, there is a good chance the judge could order jail time. You best speak wit an attorney, who hopefully may be able to rectify the problem. Whatever you do, don't ignore it because a warrant will issue (if it already hasn't) for your arrest.
