If a friend was caught with illegal material on his computer and is trying to pin it on me, should I agree to a polygraph?

You do not have to take it. You can refuse. You will not be in trouble for refusing to take it, but you may be arrested, because the police think they have enough evidence without the polygraph results to arrest you.

What can I do if I recently was arrested for driving without a license, which I didn't know was suspended?

I would suggest retaining an attorney in your area that practices in criminal defense. It can be a defense to DWLS if you did not have notice that it was suspended, but if they can prove they mailed a letter to the address they have on record for you, that can be a tough sale. The penalties can be stiff including additional points and driver's responsibility fees. Retaining an attorney or at least consulting with one if highly advised.

Answer no questions by the police. If they have enough evidence against you they will arrest you. Get an attorney.
