What can we do if my friend knew nothing about the drugs, yet 4 months and my friend is still in jail?

It will take more than that for a case to be dropped - usually like another person to be convicted. Your friend can make bond, and your friend obviously has a lawyer to whom your friend can direct questions (and should) about what is needed and the timeline for things to happen. Your friend may just have to go to trial.

The State can press charges because he is less than 17 year old, and they are more the three years between their ages.? The only thing you can do is offer financial support of the child and to let anyone who is investigating know about the true status of their relationship.
