Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen

Are you over 18? Then yes you can have a butterfly knife. They sell them at a lot of places in Texas. It's a State law, not a county law.

Is it true that a petiton for nondisclosure will prevent employers from seeing my criminal background?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
You can only seal that crime through a petition if you satisfactorily completed deferred adjudication probation. And if so, you must wait 10 year to do it.

Illegal methond serving search warrant

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
You may have a cause of action against the government but this is a very difficult type of litigation to pursue. If there was a search warrant the problem is made more difficult. It may be worth you making an appointment with an attorney close to you. I am in Dallas and would be interested in looking at it if you are here. It is possible that you may have to pay some or all the costs of any litigation so be propared.
