The Gasper Law Group is a law firm established in 1999 with an office in Colorado Springs, CO. At this office location, there are 12 lawyers practicing criminal defense, dui/dwai, drug offenses and 40 other areas of law.
I would recommend Gasper Law Group to anyone who is needing an attorney for a simple divorce. They were very prompt in responses and knowledgeable.
My lawyer was Amanda Musselwhite and she was great and worked very hard. Their entire office is wonderful. To name a few Bobby, Holly, Angela, Annaleise, and Carrie all were monumental in my experience with this firm. The only reason I gave a 3 on value of money is because it should never cost that much to divorce someone but I will say that Bobby is amazing in communicating fees and costs and the really nice thing is that there is no interest. I don't have anything to say he quoted us one price and had a payment plan but we paid it seemed a lot more then what he has initially said and he never called us or spoke with us after the initial retainer phase. Afterward it was just the paralegal that we would talk with.
During a divorce matter, one of the top partner’s advice was, “marry someone better next time”. Once you are $12,000 into a divorce, that is the absolute worst “legal” opinion possible. Communication was appalling. If you want to learn the law yourself so you have an inkling what is going on, then this is the law firm for you. Emails and phone calls are not returned. My case was transferred due to an attorney going on leave and I was charged TWO attorneys’ hours for the transition- that was beyond my control. When going against my ex’s attorney, I was told that the Gasper firm doesn’t play hard like “those Denver attorneys”. Unfortunately for me, my ex had one of “those Denver attorneys”. I did not feel as if I had an advocate. I felt as if I was a burden- not the client. Documents to the court misspelled my name?! I would not recommend this firm if you want any more than someone to charge you to not learn your case, do the bare minimum, and charge you to give the fantastic advice to
I read alot of reviews talking about how great the custom service is, well I can tell you from experience it was great only for the consultation after that terrible. The billing department was horrible, when asked to explain something in a little more detail they responded as if I was an idiot and talked down to me till I called them out on it, then they attempted a BS apology. I decided to cut ties with them after nothing was done on my case and they chargedme over $1000 becuase they called me
Gasper Law Group is more of a sell pitch than an actual practice. They never cared about my case or the outcomes. I provided to them all the evidence I had and instead of fighting with the DA it felt like they collided with the DA even though I was paying them to representing. They don't respond to emails or calls. They call you last minute about deadlines for example: Being called in the middle of the day to tell you today is the deadline to petition the court to dismiss evidence. Lawyer called me as I am in class, I need to get out of class and make a decision in 20 minutes that ultimately affected my case. Lawyer never attempted to submit a motion to dismiss charges or to fight the DA in the charges. I constantly requested to meet with my attorney and the DA and my attorney never made it happened nor she even informed me of the days and times she met with the DA (if she even met with the DA at all). I am telling you, the court clerk will help you more than this lawyers.
I wouldn't use this law firm again if my life depended on it. 100% evidence showing absolute innocence and the lawyer couldn't get charges dropped. He was supposed to cut his fee. Then didn't and is now harassing my daughter and suing her. Do NOT trust this firm.
Gasper/ Kelly are overpriced very inadequate law firm DO NOT USE THEM The equity in the marital house was approximately $170,000.00 half of that is $85,000.00. I was only awarded $17,000.00. So, I lost $67,000.00 with Gasper's atrocious legal representation. Gasper will say that they saved me $6,000.00 for my TSP account as I only have $12,000.00 in my TSP account and my retirement monthly check is less than $600.00. I now have no retirement fund and have a $30,000.00 bill from gasper Not good
