Communicating with Jerry was like visiting a foreign country and trying to speak another language. He presents himself as bold, cocky, & unapologetic- and he is - even to his clients. He doesn’t do his homework, is unprepared for court, and is exactly the type of lawyer you would expect to find in a small, hick town. Just because someone has years of experience under their belt, does not mean they’re capable of doing the job. If you care about your situation enough, do yourself a favor, do your research, ask around, and hire a different lawyer. Paying more to a better lawyer is more beneficial than thinking you’re saving money and later finding out you got what you paid for- absolutely nothing.
He accepted $1000 payment toward the $2500 retainer and was provided with more than enough information & proof for the case. When my fiance contacted him to inform him of our financial hardship, he said he is not a bank and not to bother coming in to pay unless we have the balance due. When we needed him to do anything he refused until retainer balance was paid, after accepting the $1000 deposit. He then refused to work with us and dropped us as clients without refunding any of the $1000 paid.
