I regret hiring Stacie Power to represent me in a real estate partition matter. She is incompetent and lacks ethical values. She takes money she does not earn and will argue that she is owed. Do not allow this person to continue ripping off her clients. Do not hire this person. Believe me when I say she is bad news in every department. When Stacie Power rebukes this review, which I'm certain she will, please keep in mind that I am not at all happy with the representation I received. It is for that reason that I am writing this in hopes of saving others from paying thousands of dollars to this woman for nothing.
Stacie Power, at first seemed very knowledgeable and capable to address our needs. We started with one issue that had been plaguing us for over a year. She had promised to have a letter to us to review the next week, but we heard nothing. A month later, another urgent matter arose and we asked her to put the previous case aside. After sending her all the documents she needed, and over a month later, she wrote a demand letter to the construction company without ever discussing it with us or giving us the opportunity to review the letter. It had inaccurate information stated and even to this day, she has never addressed any of it with us. After weeks of no response to our urgent requests to speak with her, we had to find another lawyer. As soon as we emailed her that we were firing her, we received the letter she was suppose to have written over 2 months before. And on top of it all, she billed us $1,300 for doing virtually nothing and wasting 3 valuable months of delays.
In my opinion Stacie Power is less than reliable, forgetful, and does not follow through and what she has been hired to do. I believe she is less than honest with her clients and with the opposing attorneys and the Judges. I would advise anyone in need of a lawyer to avoid her at all costs
