Hired Law Firm
I feel like it was kind of a scam as they give you a five year plan and take a lot of money out of your check. I got let go from my job a year before it would have been repaid, I know it wasn't their fault but I feel that not enough options as far as chapter 7 13 were offered.

Peter Francis Geraci made a ton of money off of me and my husband. I didn't give another a shot to get to do my bankruptcy because of geraci's commercials on tv. I really never had a lawyer for anything in my life and I guess I took the easy way out by watching his commerials. The job got done for a big hefty fee! That was my biggest gripe about him and his firm.

Hired Law Firm
Communication was not the best. Talking with a person was not always helpful. They did what they claimed but there was not the level of smoothness to the process that they claimed in their tv ads. The receptionist seemed more interested in her cell phone and who she was talking with in private message chat online. Having to bring in the same material to have it copied because it was not entered in, or submitted correctly was annoying.

Hired Law Firm
Geraci is a HUGE law firm out of Chicago and they have branches all over the mid-west. You do not always get to talk with the same attorney so you always have to re-tell your story every time you call with a question. Also you can only call on certain days and times of the day depending on the letter of your last name. So if you have an urgent question, you can't necessarily call the attorney. You also do not have a private number or email for your attorney that you have been assigned to.
