Penny was great the only think I did not like we're the particular rules for fees and payments. She was great. She was aggressive and professional.
Law firm and lawyers believe that collaborative work is valuable. It is only valuable when both parties are under a timeline imposed by the courts. It was a complete waste of my time and money to listen to their recommendations to continue to wait and (subsequently billed more) for the other party to agree to terms without filing suit for divorce. Spent close to $11,000.00 and the only thing I have is a summary judgment divorce that costs $80.00 in North Carolina to file.
I have emailed them and left voice mails and no response on the issue I hired them for.. its been almost a month and no response..
Would not recommend. Agreement was written vaguely and unfortunately caused me to have to return to court. For example, why would the lawyer not writes specific dates for child support. Or what happens when one graduates from high school. Sloppy and expensive
Needed help with a simple document and did not receive timely responses, the first draft was the opposite of what we discussed and I was charged an exorbitant amount for work that was done incorrectly not at my fault. Timelines promised came and went and it was on me to follow up. Even then, I was never able to get a hold of my attorney on the phone and emails went without responses for days. Do not use them for anything.
