Shaffer & Shaffer PLLC evolved from the general practice of Harry G. Shaffer, Sr. who began his practice in 1909 and was joined by his son, Harry G. Shaffer, Jr. Beginning in the 1970s the firm expanded its client base and scope of work, and now provides representation across all areas of West Virginia. The firm's services include general civil practice in state and federal courts in West Virginia, with an emphasis on personal injury, industrial accidents, employment law, commercial transactions and litigation, employment law and insurance defense.

I am very thankful for him to get my disability approved which I terribly need . I have worked very hard through my life and was at a loss as what to do not being able to work anymore . Worthless. Didn’t even attempt anything with case. This lawyer didn’t even attempt to fight for the group that hired him. He just buckled under. He wouldn’t allow any proof/documentation be entered that we had for this case. Just put everyone on hold forever then one day calls and says it won’t be going to court. No effort given on his part
