Hired Attorney

Mark is an excellent attorney. He effectively handles my business matters and provides the highest levels of client service. He keeps me informed and explains each step of the process in a way that any lay person can understand. I truly appreciate Mark's sage counsel in all matters. His staff is equally good and also to be commended. His paralegal is top notch and provides the same high level of client service that I've come to expect from Mark. This professional team is truly a class act.

Hired Attorney

I am an attorney in Charleston with 24 years of experience practicing defense related law in Charleston, WV. I also practice some family law. Mr. Kelly has often been my "go to" guy for any family law matter on which I have a specific question. Beyond that, I recently retained him in my own personal family law matter and he was outstanding. Mr. Kelly is good in the courtroom, appropriately attentive to clients, current on the law and remains the only lawyer to whom I refer family law cases.

Not only handled my case, but truly helped me emotionally handle the situation. He was very confident, and professional.

Estate Litigation

Hired Attorney

In 2015 I hired Mark Kelley to represent me as plaintiff in an estate dispute involving testamentary capacity and undue influence. He is a partner and assigned the case to an associate who was incompetent and dishonest, and Kelley ignored my repeated requests for his intervention. In 2018 Kelley took over the case and was equally ineffective and negligent. In eight years he could not get my case to trial while charging me over $250,000. In early 2024, astoundingly, Kelley suddenly withdrew as my counsel for, in his words, "complaining about this firm," and treating him "like a serf." Kelley is apathetic, negligent, and dishonest. I have now hired another law firm.
