I wanted to give them less stars but with my experience here …. I was not satisfied in the end … but had a good experience with Richard who was handling my case. He assured me On several occasions, when I asked how much am I going to owe that it won’t be much at all since all they did was read over my case and just accepted an agreement from another party…. That’s it …. No court time needed and no research needed… just basically read over my case and said accept the deal they are offering so I did … and I asked a final time on how much more is owed or will I get anything back and he once again said oh you will definitely have money coming back and that it isn’t going to be that much at all since there wasn’t much involvement… well low and behold… after paying my higher than usual retainer … I literally get a bill for almost the full amount except a couple bucks … I was so mad they took advantage of me that way and to think I was going to continue business with them for work contracts.
Had Kotler for a GAL, he was terrible and did the most bare minimum work for my child. Made me feel incompetent when it came to fighting for my child. Barely responded to me in a timely manner, I wasn't informed of anything going on. He didn't ask questions or investigate, I had to keep up with it all myself and keep him informed. Waited until the last min to provide a recommendation to the lawyers and the judge. Was an awful experience. Would have like to received a partial refund.
