Gary has helped me on several cases over the last 15 years and has been very successful on my behalf. His work ethic and tenacity are beyond question. Both of these things happened but more than that, Gary was compassionate and kind during the whole process. And because of him, my divorce only took 16 months which I have been told is not too long for this process. 3/27/2015{para} I was referred to Gary by my financial advisor of 13 years. I was faced with divorce after 40 years of marriage.It was complicated by the fact my ex was retired military. Gary made it his business to educate himself on all aspects of the military law regarding divorce.Gary with his endless energy and attention to detail,and Helene, his paralegal, with her calm and compassionate nature make the perfect team. They are extremely knowledgeable in all areas of divorce and family law.They both took the time to educate,support and guide me through this difficult process.Gary always handled himself with the highest standard of professionalism.He is well respected throughout the court system.After a 5 year battle, the outcome was all in my favor.I cannot express my love and gratitude I feel for for Gary and Helene. Gary was the only attorney recommended to me by an attorney who once opposed him. Gary took the largest case file most lawyers have ever seen and in only a few months, pulled it together, tried the case, and won in a big way. Gary and Helene, his paralegal, organized the case, applied a winning strategy, and executed the plan in line with the strategy. I've not seen anyone else put that much thought and effort into winning. The judge very much appreciated his organization and communication.

Attorney Gary Avratin and Helene did an amazing job helping me through a very emotional divorce. My initial lawyer did not give me any copies of my ex’s information that made it impossible to build a case. She also refused to speak to me outside of rigidly scheduled appointments sometimes weeks in advance. Gary and Helene are always available to their clients. Even during a global pandemic we managed to build and present a solid case against my ex and have a successful outcome. Gary is aggressive but not greedy, he seeks to get what is fair for his clients but does not promise anything beyond that.
