Cate Grainger and her staff are completely unprofessional and are always looking to maximize fees. In the middle of the conversation, with Cate herself, she hung up the phone when she did not like the answer that simply Canada's border ban prevented me from coming to Canada and cashing the Canadian fund's cheque they issued. They took my mother's estate from $2.0M to $180,000 with fees and charges and will not reveal what were the charges to me or my brother. After one year of asking nicely to get my money from them with Harrison Pensa charging more fees, I am finding that having to go to court to get my proceeds. Stay away from this firm at all costs, especially for estate planning and estate distribution! Anywhere else is better than this.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
