As a former MLA and Minister for the Province of Alberta I highly value Brian’s significant contributions as a member of both the Alberta Cancer Board and as a Trustee of the Alberta Cancer Board Foundation. Brian provided strategic and legal expertise and highly successful negotiations to reducing pharmaceutical costs and for the Compassionate Drug Program. Brian provided the Province of Alberta with exceptional legal advice and negotiation support including the Calgary Cancer Centre and more.
Brian became President of our family foundation in 1993 and served as President until 2006 and remains an active board member today. His commitment and expertise has been so valuable and the giving of his time in a Pro Bono capacity has been exemplary. His contributions to legal matters and the assessing of grant allocations by the Foundation has been significant.
