Lyndon Thiessen and his team are wonderful. My husband and I have used Field Law a couple times now and every time the process is flawless. They have a great response time and are very thorough in explaining things. Not once have we ever been concerned at any point in the process. Highly recommend and will continue to use them in the future.

Hired Attorney Donald (Dino) McLaughlin

Speaks eloquently, without notes, and quietly, while remaining focused on getting answers without seeming to ask a question. Often wears recycled suits to work, and volunteers for street-people or the organizations that try to help them.

Hired Attorney Steve Eichler

Terrible. Paid by the Alberta Teachers union, and had zero interest in the outcome of my case. I felt like he was only doing it out of contact obligation with the ATA. He showed up late with cycling gear on and didn't even read my case notes. Capitulation with the opposition for an easy close seems to be the modus operandi of this firm; certainly with this lazy "attorney at law". Wish I could go back in time and insist on a different firm, or at least a different lawyer who is more focused on his client than his music hobby. 0/10 NO TEETH

Very aggressive, dislikes communication, rarely responds to emails, insists on complete obedience, does not allow any independent opinions, cannot be contradicted, full of lies, lacks professional standard.

Worst experience dealing with this law firm ever. Originally hired a different lawyer at this law firm and after the case being dragged out far longer then needed he decided to take over without asking if I was okay with it and then lost the case! He is hugely unethical and should be avoided at all cost

God awful firm. Absolute rip pff. - They don't keep promises - They don't do a good job - They do not make you feel like they know what they are do or offer strong legal power - They are money focused, avoid them all.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
