Hired Attorney Edwin Melhuish

I recently tried to buy a house in FL, and the seller would not come to a price for which I could obtain a loan. The seller and the realtors tried to retain a part of my substantial deposit unjustly. Mr Melhuith took my case, wrote a letter on my behalf, and my deposit is now being restored to my bank account. His demeanor was professional and courteous, and he acted promptly. I would not hesitate to hire Mr. Melhuish again if the need for an attorney should arise.

The original matter for which he was hired was never addressed. After spending over $10K, when asked how he was resolving the original request he asked to be removed from the case.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
