We began working with Kevin Seaver over the summer regarding a false claim of negligence and emotional/physical abuse of our teenage daughter. She has been diagnosed with mental health disorders and legal blindness, which prevents her from doing what normal teenagers (almost adult) do. The false allegation was that we (her biological mother and father) had abused her physically as a child and were actively emotionally abusing her presently in that we prevented her from doing what she wanted to do, and admonished her for her disabilities. Attorney Kevin Seaver and team were incredibly supportive. They were available all the time, and diligent in their follow-up with DCF. Attorney Seaver and his team handled all the paperwork, the gathering of documentation, the review of the legal requirements and steps, and was the point of contact to our DCF case manager. Attorney Seaver was persistent in trying to find every angle to unsupport this false allegation. And that’s exactly what we got!
We started the process with DCF without a lawyer and after some research we realized this would not go in our favor if we went at this alone. After some more research we found Kevin and his staff. We were able to go through the process with less stress. He was there for us to answer any questions we had and got DCF out of our lives quickly. He is worth the investment!
