In the summer of 2019 I went to Lerch, Early & Brewer to meet with Erin Kopelman. I needed a divorce from my 36 year old marriage. We had properties and retirement accounts and a life insurance policy that he had stopped payment on. Erin set me up with an appraiser to evaluate the properties and she helped me retrieve $90,000 in life insurance that we didn’t even realize had value and she arranged for the retirement accounts to be split. Then the pandemic hits. We did the rest of the divorce under the same conditions that we are currently under now except the courts were closed. As soon as they reopened she filed and while the divorce was final in August there were still a few things that took time. We finished completely last week. I received exactly half of everything. Erin took care of everything for me and didn’t let go until it was completely done. I think hiring her was the best money I’ve ever spent.
