Hired Law Firm

After interviewing several lawyers I decided on Mr.Schlaich. He showed some human concern I did not find in others. I found Mr.Schlaich to be very knowledgeable and he kept me apprised of things as they came up. If I became anxious he would respond sensitively but honestly.
The day of court went as predicted, a lot of back and forth. I feel he represented my interests and argued for best resolution possible. I was very pleased with the results and would recommend him to anyone.

Ms. Thompson is very professional and knowledgeable in Family Law. She is highly respected in the legal community. This combination was extremely important to me. She was very patient and supportive during my highly stressful and very contentious divorce. In the end, Ms. Thompson was able to negotiate a fair settlement while keeping my expenses within reason. I highly recommend her services for any Family Law issues.

Carl was there when I needed him. He took the time to explain the charge, possible outcomes, and then gave me options with long term impacts associated with each. I felt like I was part of the decision making process and not forced down the path of least resistance. His charges were very fair. Hopefully I won't need legal representation in the future, but if I do, Carl will be the first and only attorney that I will contact.

Katie Thompson was able to get me joint legal custody of my children in a scenario where no other attorney was able to nor wanted to try! Her patience and professional guidance during that horrible year kept me from stooping to the low levels that would have resulted in a very different outcome with my kids. I have the utmost respect for Katie and impressed with her knowledge of child custody.

I never felt like the lawyer was on my side or believed I could win custody of my daughter. No real fight, just follow the the same old path and see what happens. Not all cases are the same but this firm treats them that way. I never got the feeling anyone really cared, except about getting paid. Huge waste of money and had to finish the case on my own. I won custody without a lawyer. I have no issue paying for services done well, just not for an indifferent person.
