Mark Brent is a great attorney. He will focus on what needs to be done. He is very professional. I had a very difficult divorce case with an ex that continues to keep me in court over custody issues. He's great with complicated situations.
My ex had the most disorganized attorneys. Mark basically had to keep up on them to get things done. They kept drawing things out while he had to keep them on track He told me what was needed on my end and we worked well together. Sadly though, the the divorce laws in Illinois are more of a problem and don't always allow an attorney to do what is right vs following the law.
I hired Mark to represent me during my divorce. He handled my case effectively and with zeal. His fees were fair and he was very responsive to my questions. I highly recommend Mark.
Mr. Brent appears to be a good lawyer, but he constantly misses commitments and is very defensive. He is not client focused and his staff provides different reasons why activities are not complete then what Mr. Brent may inform you. Be prepared to check up on missing documents if you don't get them when he says you will. He seems disorganized.
Mark was Horrible , and incompetent. Very rude and lazy . Never would recommend . The attitude made it hard to even reach out , and I felt as though I was judged during the consultation. I would like to know how many cases he’s dealt with and actually won .
