It may be about 3 or 4 years before you can buy another house, but that is completely up to the lender. Some lenders may still not do it.

Chapter 7 bankruptcy doesn't affect changes in the debtor's circumstances which occur after the filing date (except in a few circumstances). Being married will not affect the bankruptcy.

Student loans are non-dischargeable whether they are private or government loans. There is a small window by which a debtor can discharge such debt but less than 1% actually qualify.
