How can a person get out of a signed lease agreement on a mobile home with significant other?

He can start by contacting the landlord, telling them is no longer a resident, and ask to have his name removed from the lease. If that does not work, then he should contact an attorney to discuss other options.

Can I still file for bankruptcy even after giving my car back to the dealer?

Giving away money or other valuable assets while you're in debt is called a fraudulent transfer. Your bankruptcy won't be affected but there is a possibility that the trustee will demand that your ex repay the $854.00 to the bankruptcy estate. In Ohio the period of liability for a fraudulent transfer to an unrelated person is one year.

Is money from my IRA considered income?

Charles J Schneider
Answered by attorney Charles J Schneider (Unclaimed Profile)
Bankruptcy lawyer at Charles J. Schneider, P.C.
Generally not. There is no unanimity on this point. It may depend on the frequency of withdrawals. It is, after all, income for tax purposes but in reality it is a withdrawal from a tax free bank account from income that was earned in the past.
