As my attorney Barbara Buxton made horrible recommendations, misrepresented me and then attempted to bill an addition $6000+ for continued legal services that I had not requested and was not aware she was attempting to perform. Her legal recomendations and actions left me with several major conflicts between myself and family members that I would not have had otherwise. After my experience with Barbara Buxton I would not recommend her for any type of family legal matters whatsoever.

Terrible, I would not recommend her. very expensive at 380 dollars an hour. she gave us very bad advise that cost my family dearly.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
