Going through a divorce is never easy, but everything has been taken care of and now I can start a fresh new chapter.

Jimmy is every bit the 'scrapper' his reputation holds him out to be. Though it took some convincing to get him into Jimmy's office, once we were there talking to Jimmy my fiancee finally understood how important it was that we get representation for our family law troubles. I am absolutely convinced that without an attorney of Jimmy's caliber we wouldn't have gotten the result we did at our hearing. He made opposing counsel look like an amateur.
I had an overall positive experience with Evans Family Law Group, and appreciate that they specialize in Agreed Divorces. I spoke initially with James Evans, who gave me some creative solutions to some complications/challenges in my case. My assigned lawyer was knowledgeable, patient, and detail oriented. The paralegal assigned to my case was also was efficient and helpful. I did experience some impact from turnover unfortunately, and had to work with 3 separate lawyers, which led to some communication gaps and lags. However, they got the job done and I am grateful for their help + support during a difficult period.
I had initially hoped my divorce case would be quick and relatively easy. It ended up being anything but quick or easy. Jimmy was very responsive and thorough, making sure the "i"s were dotted and "t"s were crossed. His paralegal, Nicole, was fantastic and very responsive. She did a great job keeping things organized and responding promptly. A former lawyer in the firm could have done things better, which is why this is not a 5 star rating, but once Jimmy was aware of the situation he worked to rectify the issues. His current team seems great.
EFLG was prompt and very responsive in attending to my needs along the way and explained the entire process to me very clearly at the outset which left me with clarity. However, I would suggest that they keep their clients informed regarding any potential changes in their legal counsels along the way, so as to avoid surprises.
