Hired Attorney Jason W. Peck

I have had long standing tax relationship with the IRS. I have hired attorneys in the past years and they have resulted in no help to my situation at all. I found later they were more interested in getting my fee than assisting me. I found Mr Peck from a search to his website. From our first meeting he was professional and communicated with me candidly about my situation. I am impressed with his tax knowledge and handling of my case with the IRS. I would certainly use his firm again.

Hired Attorney Jason W. Peck

Peck Group offers a free 30-minute consultation on their web site. I have a simple issue about collecting sales tax for a non-profit. Sales tax is an area in which Peck Group claims to have experience and expertise. They allow inquiries for the consultation by phone or email (actually it's a contact form that comes up). After 2 days there was no acknowledgement of my inquiry in any form so I called. The lady was nice at first, took some info, and looked to see if an attorney could do the consultation. She returned to say I should "Google it" as they would not be able to help me. She literally also said they did not want to waste their time with it. What a joke their "Free 30 minute telephone consultation" is.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
