I am an attorney and counselor of law who handles cases all over the beautiful state of Georgia. I limit my practice to criminal defense, personal injury and wrongful death. Having been sworn into the practice of law in 1995, I have handled over a thousand criminal and civil cases. My results speak for themselves. I like to win! In the words of General George Patton, "Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser". I am a "matter of fact", style lawyer, who tells the client the truth, not just what they want to hear. I frequently think "outside the box" in my approach to legal problems. My client's best interest(s) are what I seek to uphold. I wear my client's success like a badge of honor. Mr Smith is an extremely competent attorney who has relationships throughout the criminal justice and Judiciary systems all over the state. Steve Smith truly spends every day fighting for truth and justice. Steve Smith is not just a great attorney, he's also a great person and those are rare these days. Working with Mr. Smith was a GREAT experience! My teenage son fell into some legal trouble twice within a 2 month period. Mr. Smith met with me and him and really talked to him not only about his case but also about the choices my son was making in his life and how the road he was going down was going to be a rough one if he didn't change his ways and attitude. My son listened! We refer him whenever anyone asks for a good lawyer. He's the best! He really helped my family at a very difficult time, and we won!
