Mr. Justin Allen Chin

I hired Justin Chin to handle my divorce, and it was one of the worst decisions I’ve made. Communication was a nightmare – I constantly had to follow up for updates, and my emails and calls were often ignored for days. When we did speak, I felt rushed and dismissed, like my case wasn’t important. On top of that, I was charged for things that were never explained to me clearly. The billing felt excessive and disorganized. Worst of all, it felt like they were more interested in settling quickly than actually fighting for what was fair. I walked away from the divorce feeling completely unprotected and unsupported. If you’re going through something as serious as a divorce, I highly recommend finding someone who will actually advocate for you and keep you in the loop.

How this attorney has a 4-Star rating is beyond me! I was frustrated and angered dealing with him. He's a con and I dont understand how he still has a license! He is everything negative -poor representation, poor communication, completely unreliable! He rarely showed up for court appearances and when he did, he would just sit there and did not speak up on my behalf. When I had questions about my case he would ask me how we should handle it. What?! He just runs up the billing and expects to be paid for nothing. I was so stressed out with this attorney that I would have been better off representing myself. DO NOT HIRE HIM. You have been warned.

He is absolutely the worst attorney ever. Totally unprepared, unskilled and lack knowledge. He was all over the place in court. Confused the entire courtroom. He did not cross examination, nor ask any rebuttal questions. I feel like he was working for the other side. Unfit to be a practicing attorney.

Justin Chin bar number needs to be revoked. He is an absolute horrible, unprepared attorney. He missed several court dates. Did not prepare responses to court communication. He never prepared with me as his client before a court. Just a failure as a lawyer.

Working with this lawyer was a horrible experience that I will regret for the rest of my life. How could someone that practices law take advantage of people by taking their money, making broken promises to handle cases and then gets absolutely nothing accomplished. My case with Justin has been dragging for 2 years if I wouldn’t have went to the courthouse today to get proof of child support order I would’ve never discovered that my case was dismissed and there was no order of child support modification in place. Justin is a liar at this point and can’t be trusted. Who goes months without talking to clients but charges them for every text, phone call and email? You don’t get charged for handling business regarding your case this baffles me. I’m frustrated angry every word you can describe with emotions surrounding anger is me tonight!

Attorney Chin sold me out to the other attorney and caused me jail time for not representing me properly at trial on a contempt charge for attorney fees to the other attorney he took my van and cell phones demanding money that was not due to him. i entrusted Attorney Chin with my property after the judge ordered me into custody. Attorney Chin cannot produce any invoice signed by me saying i owe him for any outstanding services he provided he's a thief and im having to file a thief by taking warrant to retrieve my property ive also contacted the State Bar Association. There are more horrible facts concerning this attorney if anyone is intrested in seeing who this man really is feel free to reach out to me PARKER

I didn't want to write a negative review, but I feel like I need to in order to get him to respond to work on my divorce case. I hired Justin about 4 years ago to file for an uncontested divorce for me. To date, my case is still up in the air. He told me that my case is filed with the court. I still have yet received my divorce decree and every time I contacted him, he'll respond that he will look into it and then nothing happened. It has been four (4) years now and my UNCONTESTED divorce case is still up in the air!

Working with Justin Chin was not a great experience for me. The communication was very poor by both him and his assistant Ashley. In my emails, I stated that I understood that I wasn't his only case and that he is busy but I truly felt that my case did not matter to him even after I explained to him the importance of it. Communication was poor, he didn't even know or remember my case when I did speak to him. He would ask the same questions over and over, when he had this information in my files and also told him repeatedly. My case was dismissed because of how unprepared he was. Another attorney went on the portal for Dekalb county and saw that he didn't download ANY of the documents I emailed him and his assistant which caused my case to be dismissed. He doesn't respond to emails, texts or phone calls-maybe because my case wasn't a high paying case, i'm not sure but I can tell you that I am highly disappointed with his unprofessionalism. I would NOT hire him as your attorney.

All veterans and military beware!!! Charlatan!!! Will take your monies and leave you "high & dry!" Do not retain!!!
