If all attorneys were like him, then lawyers wouldn't’t have such a bad reputation. My ex did not even have an attorney but Mr. Alembik seemed to fight for him rather than me even though I hired him. He told me the costs of college could not be included in our child support agreement so as the custodial parent and lower wage earner, I had to pay for my child’s college expenses.

Gary Alembik modus operandi is collect his retainers fees and inform you that he is a part time Judge at Fulton county, charges over $300 per hour , meaning you have to pay him for been a part-time judge and a lawyer. Gary would not go to court until the money you paid for retainer has been fully spent, by inviting you to numerous meetings in his office, and repeating the same thing, over and over every time. He would keep invite you for endless and unnecessary time consuming meetings in his office. During the course of the meeting, he would abandon you between 20-30 minutes, only to come back with “am sorry apology”, but you will get a bill for this period that he has gone on AWOL without talking with you, and has nothing to do with your case, like going to talk to his secretary, going to the bathroom, going to blow his nostrils, answering his cell phones, during the course of the so called meeting. This is to ensure that the hours add up for a meeting that should not last more than 30 minutes, now you are spending over an hour.
He would promise you that your type of case can be easily settled without much difficulty. Only to be astonished that your case is taking longer than anticipated. When you remind him of his promise, he would say to you, “I never promise you anything”
A case that should not last more than three months, he dragged it for over a year like 14 months. He does not work for your best interest. You are paying him, but most of his actions favor the opposing party who does not give him a damn!!!
He would like you to believe what a judge in Fulton County said on the same type of case, whereas it is not the same judge that would handle your case in another county. At the end of the case, you will be owing him a lot of money and the case would end up in favor of the other party, but make it look as if, he has done you a favor.
I am suffering today due to his actions that favor the other party; I have to pay another lawyer to clear up the mess he put me into. If you are a man going through divorce, please don’t go to him, his actions would be to the favor of your soon to be ex-wife. He plays with your head. Don’t like going to court, prefer many and many meetings in his office, for a case that would not be settled in his office
