For several years I had tried to get disability, each time I was turned down. When I contacted this firm they assigned Mr. Gordon to my case and within 4 month I had a scheduled hearing a decision on the day of the hearing. During those 4 months Mr. Gordon office stayed on contact with me keeping me posted on the progress of my case.
Working with this attorney was Awesome. She did everything promised and I trusted her from day one.
Mr. Gordon did a very thorough job of getting my Disability claim even though Social Security had denied my previous claims through them. He is very busy, so I must admit it is a bit difficult to contact him, but he always returns calls, eventually. He listens to what I say and finally was able to get my claim approved. The staff at his office are also wonderful. I am very grateful to him.
SSDI/SSI Case:
After being denied for SSDI for mental health reasons I researched top Disability Law Firms in Atlanta and came across Affleck & Gordon. My initial consultation went very smooth and the expectations were clearly provided. My case was a VERY difficult one to win, primarily due to my age. I was always mailed & copied on the forms and status of my case throughout the painfully long ordeal of dealing with SSA hearing delay. When the hearing came, I spoke to Tom Affleck personally and the hearing went INCREDIBLY well. The judge clearly has respect for Mr. Affleck and I was impressed with how things went. {para}Bottom line, I received a tremendous amount of backpay and a generous monthly SSDI payment based on onset date which Mr. Affleck established flawlessly. I highly recommend Mr. Affleck to anyone seeking SSI/SSDI assistance.
They do not respond to calls on a timely manner. I did most of the work call SSI every week they had No idea what my adjudicators name was what was going on with my case I called my attorney and they told me to call the adjudicator myself I did within two weeks I had my case approved and had to let my attorney know that my case was approved because they had no idea they don’t keep a check on your case maybe once every three months I fill it is a Rip off to pay an attorney for nothing.
