I had received good references and reviews from several former clients of Ari Karpf My circumstances were different in that I was a contract agent and my principal was in violation of the contract, treating me as an employee without the rights or the benefits. After giving notice of termination of the contract the company became quite hostile, aggressive and began making threats through their lawyer. I contacted Ari and after my initial consultation I was convinced I had made the right choice for representation. I found him to be incredibly knowledgeable of the law, professional and responsive as well as reasonable in his rates. The representation I received was far above and beyond my expectations. I hired Ari to handle a severance agreement with a previous employer. I did so based on the fact that the firm I originally hired got off to a very rough start in my negotiations. The contentious negotiations actually got worse from there, with the company threatening to retract all monetary compensation and even to threaten legal action - prompting me to switch my representation to Ari. Immediately, there was a change in not only tone (much more empathy, much less "clubiness" with opposing attorneys), but more importantly, Ari immediately showed a willingness to be aggressive and fight, given that my position was definitely defensible. This was exactly what was needed. As Ari mentioned to me several times, he emphasizes results - and that was exactly what he achieved. Not only did I wind up with a successful outcome in terms of a severance agreement, but when I later wound up in a billing dispute with the firm I went with originally, Ari reached a satisfactory outcome there as well.

There are not enough words to express how I feel! I went into unemployment issues blind. They where so helpful and kind.
