I have used several Lawyers in past child custody issues. All asked for 3-5 K upfront. I was offered a 100.00 consulting fee to determine the specific issue. Donna J. Smiedt is the best family law attorney in all of Tarrant County. She treats her clients with utmost respect and will never give up until her clients are happy. She is the smartest, nicest and most amazing lawyer I have ever spoken to.
More focused on her name and partying with her friends than working cases... seemed a little "high" strung as well. Wont fight for you puts your cases on the back burner until to late.
This attorney is focused on collecting her fees not on servicing her clients. She overbills, she is slow to act, doesn't return phone calls and gets no results. Don't believe the positive reviews. Take it from someone who has used her.
