They were straight forward about what was going to happen. It was an easy process. They were helpful with everything that we needed to do.
I hired Marrs and Terry twice, first for a separation and two years later to complete a divorce. I dealt with Katheryn Gerding (atty) and Todd Similo (legal asst.). In each circumstance, my matter was eventually resolved successfully. I found Katheryn and Todd to be pleasant. In each of my two circumstances, the matter cost 150% of the original retainer by the end of the process. The separation totaled at $4630 and the divorce at $1630. In each circumstance, one of the details of the matter was lost and required additional contact and billing to resolve. For the separation, the QDRO process was stalled out and required prodding to conclude. For the divorce, a quit claim deed was missed and had to be filed much later. Contact with the firm was implicitly discouraged by the $22.50 minimum fee for any interaction whether by e-mail or phone. This was regardless of whether the need for contact was due to dropped details or not.
Great initially, but after that service was horrible. Anytime I sent documents they lost them. Would have to constantly call to see a resolution to my issues. Just poor communication and responsiveness will not recommend to anyone.
This office is terrible they never returned my call every time I call the lawyer is never there I'm always talking to the reception they will never call me to discuss anything about my case I'm always trying to get in touch with them and I can never and then they never returned my call until months later
They have billed me for every phone conversation, no matter what the subject. Overbilled at the end of the bankruptcy. Worst law firm ever.
