Richard M. Morgan has been practicing law in Georgia since 1987. Richard founded the award-winning Alpharetta law firm of Morgan & DiSalvo, P.C. in 1995 to help individuals and families plan and prepare for the many changes that life brings. Morgan & DiSalvo was again named in U.S. News & World Report's “Best Law Firms” ranking for 2013-2019. Richard also serves on a 2 member sub-committee of the Fiduciary Law Section to propose a Technical Corrections Bill to improve the 2017 Georgia Uniform Power of Attorney Act.

Second time we have used the firm. Both experiences have been excellent. Particularly liked the small practice flavor with active involvement of the principles. Richard provides a quality product and attention to detail. He takes the time to assure that all your questions are answered. Especially liked the fixed fee agreements so that the costs of the process are known up front.

If you are looking for a lawyer that has a an excellent high level and strong detailed technical understanding of estate planning you should talk with Richard Morgan. Preservation of capital with generational planning as well as incorporating a special needs trust was important to us in picking a lawyer to handle our needs. Richard and his team did an outstanding job and worked on our time line.

Richard is extremely skilled at what he does. I am an attorney, but I do not personally practice in the estate law arena, so I hired Morgan & DiSalvo to create an estate plan for me and my husband when we relocated to Georgia. However, I do know exceptional drafting when I see it, and Morgan & DiSalvo has tight and accurate drafting (NOT true for all attorneys!). I have also had other estate plans created in other states, and I have encountered the difficulties that occur when potential issues are not adequately addressed in the documents. I was relieved when I consulted with Richard and realized that his documents already addressed and eliminated the issues I had encountered with prior estate plans created in other states, plus he was more than capable of dealing with any other estate planning issues I needed addressed. Richard is fully capable of handling the challenges any of your estate planning needs.
