Hired Law Firm

James Cottrell and John Cottrell are the best family lawyers in the state of Virginia. Both are incredibly smart, knowledgeable, responsive, attentive to details, and treat clients wonderfully. Everyone in the firm, from the secretaries to the paralegals, to the attorneys do everything they can to help clients find the best solution and to make a painful process (divorce) as manageable as possible. And if litigation is required, there is no one better to represent you in the court room.

Hired Law Firm

This law firm is to be avoided. After hiring them to explore the notion of separation from my spouse, they aggressively and unprofessionally manipulated my duress and against my stated wishes, pushed divorce upon me. I’m disgusted with their attorneys and their profession, and these guys are the bottom of the barrel in terms of trying to get what they want (profit) rather than supporting what the client wants - and needs. To be avoided, unless you want to be bulldozed and manipulated.
