McBride Law Firm is a law firm with an office in Alexandria, LA. At this office location, there are 3 lawyers practicing bankruptcy, bankruptcy chapter 7, bankruptcy chapter 13 and 2 other areas of law.
We hired Mr. McBride after we found another attorney had not been including the appropriate numbers to come up with our monthly figure. At first, we were pleased. Shortly thereafter, things went downhill. We have had almost zero contact in regard to my husband's automobile accident that occurred after the bankruptcy. We have to hire another attorney just to file a lawsuit to preserve the statues of limitations for the accident -- mostly due to the McBride Law Firm's lack of communication.
I filed a Chpt. 7 in 2008, requesting to re-affirm my home and vehicle. I completely listed all credit cards. McBride's office "forgot" to re-affirm my home and left out two credit cards. As a result, I no longer have full responsibilities of a home owner with the ability to sell the home, and my payments do not affect my ability to repair my credit. In addition, I am constantly harassed by bill collectors. McBride took several months to answer my phone calls, and nothing got resolved.
McBride and Collier is wonderful at getting your business and running commercials promising you great service but as soon as they have you sign those papers, they are no longer there to help. they called me so much when i was thinking about filing.. Now that I have needed help, they havent called me back in 2 weeks and i have tried calling several times. I finally got someone to answer and she said they were understaffed. dont go to these people if you want true service.
