Clear, concise, and effective. Very clear about what he can and cannot accomplish for you. A pleasure to work with. Very no-nonsense.
Mr. Mendleson helped me fight for the benefits I was entitled to. He helped me to understand the court procedures and the question that would be asked of me. His assistant Nancy was also very helpful.
I wouldn't want to be on the other side when dealing with this law firm. Some of the best lawyers around for Workers Compensation. They are extremely articulate in Law and work hard for results.
Felt that he dropped the ball on my case. Wanted me to do own work that I was not up to doing and he could have/should have done in order for me to attain maximum benefits from my case.
They are slow in returning phone calls, when I do speak with someone I am bounced from one lawyer to the next and they fall to communicate with each other within the firm.
I would not recommend this firm for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) representation. Look elsewhere if you are looking for a disability attorney or lawyer. Ira Mendelson told me that my disability (dyslexia) was inconsistent with having a college degree. Rather than trying to learn and understand how his view is hurtful and the reason people with my disability face such challenges, he doubled down on his statement. Karen Arndt, in a conversation following this encounter with Mr. Mendelson, screamed at me and hung up on me. In her letter to me indicating they would no longer work with me, she stated that I instead hung up on her. The attorneys at this practice are unprofessional, thoughtless, and dismissive. They have no business dealing with individual with learning or emotional disabiltiies.
