Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I would highly recommend Attorney Kirk Bennett to friend and family. I found him extremely professional, honest, capable and direct, as well as very empathetic and compassionate. After initially retaining a less than competent and unsympathetic lawyer, which was financially straining during the already difficult and emotionally challenging divorce process, connecting with Kirk was a saving grace.{para} {para}In representing me, Attorney Bennett was thorough, quick to address the most detailed and
I was introduced to this attorney via another attorney to represent the interest of minor child as a result of father's drinking/driving. I never signed a retainer with this attorney. His bills were not itemized with his time - in one instance - stating he has spoken with a therapist for a long time - the therapist had time stamped 10 minutes. In one instance, the judge called our case and Kirk could not be found - I found him outside the courthouse - shooting the breeze with another attorney.
Unfortunately this attorney lost on every single issue we had in my divorce. My ex ended up with custody, no alimony, no division of property, no legal fees basically nothing. I blame the incompetence of this attorney. He did allow me to wait over a year to pay him so he is super flexible in that regard. So if you need someone who will work for free for many months Kirk is your man.
Unfortunately there is nothing positive to say about this attorney. Unprofessional, money hungry and provides advice to clients that increase billable hours for him.
With sincere intentions, I engaged the services of this individual to act as my representative during a challenging divorce process. However, over the course of several months, it became evident that Mr. Bennett lacked the requisite experience and proficiency to effectively navigate my case. Regrettably, he did not invest the necessary time to grasp the intricacies of my situation, leading to an ultimately unfavorable outcome. Despite substantial financial investment, the result was less favorable than what I might have achieved through direct negotiation with my former spouse—precisely contrary to the guidance provided by Mr. Bennett.
Strictly concerned with increasing his billable hours. Not an up to date, full time attorney. Keep lookingb b
I’m sorry to say this attorney is all about maximizing his billable hours to increase his own personal income. There is no regard for children or even the clients he represents. Do your homework and make sure you vet whoever you hire, just don’t make the expensive mistake I made by hiring this guy.
This attorney is unethical -- as our GAL before we removed him -- he billed 7.5 hours for a short court case where my ex and my attorney billed an hour. Do your homework on his cases/clients!!
