The attorney seemed to be in my corner at initially, we had 2 positive meetings, I paid the down payment to proceed. Then 1 day before my Ch 7 filing date, the attorney called & his tone and line of inquiry was nearly adversarial, suddenly no recollection of things discussed previously, et, I was very put off by this and alarm bells went off in my mind. I terminated his services and did not receive a partial refund. So, I was left in worse financial shape than when I started out.
Al Butler III appears to be the primary partner, although his father also works there. Al is a very cut and dried, no nonsense attorney, which tends to make him somewhat cold and aloof. However, feedback from other lawyers in the Wilmington attest to his competence with bankruptcy. My only complaint is that I still don't know exactly what is happening with my house foreclosure, even 13 months after filing bankruptcy.
