About Meghan Butters Houser

Ms. Houser is a director at the law firm of Weiss, Saville, Medinilla & Houser P.A. She joined the firm in 2010 and became a director in 2018. She received her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2010. While in law school, Ms. Butters was an Executive Board Member of the Moot Court Board where she competed in several national tournaments. She was awarded Best Brief – Respondents at the William B. Spong Moot Court Tournament in 2010; 8th Best Oralist out of a field of 95 participants and advancement to the quarter-final round of the John J. Gibbons Moot Court Tournament in 2010; Advancement to the quarter-final round of the Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition in 2008.

Ms. Houser is a Past President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and continues to serve on its Board of Governors. From 2012-2014, she served as the CLE co-chair for DTLA and also served as Membership co-chair from 2014-2015. Ms. Houser has volunteered with the Combined Campaign for Justice since 2011. Additionally, Ms. Houser has previously participated in Law Day, where lawyers throughout the State of Delaware presented the iCivics program to local middle school students. She also presented the End Distracted Driving program at two local high schools, encouraging students to practice safe driving habits. Ms. Houser is a member of the Randy J. Holland Workers’ Compensation Inn of Court and is currently Chair of the Service Committee. Since 2010, Ms. Houser has served as a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, including membership with the Workers’ Compensation, Women & the Law, and New Lawyers sections. She is currently serving on the Nominating Committee for the Delaware State Bar Association. Ms. Houser is also a member of the American Bar Association.
