My mom and I hired Mr. Pyfer to try to get a large company to honor their warranty. Mr. Pyfer started with the case, but then handed it off to a junior associate. That person quit and went elsewhere, so our case was handed to another junior associate. This happened multiple times and each time we had to pay to bring the new associate up to speed. The last associate was doing nothing for months on the case and when we met with him to find out the delay, he said we never sent him the needed paperwork. We had it delivered months before and they had to sign for it. We proved to him they had indeed gotten all the needed paperwork months before. He went into a files room and low and behold, he found all our paperwork. I warned him that I had been following the company that we were suing and it looked like they might file bankruptcy. He said we should accept their $1000.00 plea agreement. We were trying to get reimbursed $50,000 and Pyfer had already taken $20,000 in fees. We got nothing.
John was big on high money cases. If yours isn't, don't bother.
I found Mr Pyfer uneducated in his field. He gave me very poor advice. Several other lawyers have advised me that what he told me to do in no way was the correct means of action. He cost me full custody of my children. I now have to share my children with an abusive person due to his poor advise. When someone goes seeking legal advice and paying good money they would think they could trust the attorney.
As with all attorneys, she epitomizes what it means to Sublimate (in psychoanalytic theory, it is to divert or modify a profoundly immoral, malevolent and pathologic personality feature or character trait that is present in oneself into a 'disguised' socially acceptable activity). Just another more successful Sociopath shrouded within the legal profession.
