Meanwhile he chose to spend his time by doing a variety of things: he did not contact the proper people in a timely fashion to obtain critical information, he did not submit information to the courts when it was due, he treated meetings like therapy sessions instead of informing me about and explaining the law, he spent an abundance of time talking about his personal life, and ultimately he neglected my case. In fact, after some digging around, I discovered that he had been reprimanded by the court for “excusable negligence.”
