Focusing on criminal defense and traffic law across Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, and Robeson Counties, Tara passionately advocates for her clients. With a deep-rooted connection to her community as a lifelong resident of Whiteville, she is dedicated to assisting her neighbors through legal challenges.

With seven years of postsecondary education at Chapel Hill under her belt, Tara's skills are further enhanced by her experience as a Deputy Clerk of Superior Court in Columbus County. This role provided her invaluable insights into the intricacies of criminal court proceedings, bolstering her effectiveness in the courtroom.

During her tenure at UNC School of Law, Tara sharpened her client-relations skills through the Immigration Clinic, where she assisted indigent clients. Since being admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2017, she has been unwavering in her commitment to uphold her oath to "be faithful and bear true allegiance to the State of North Carolina."

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database.
